The course will be held at the University of Georgia in the Davison Life Sciences Building, room C128. Lodging will be at the Holiday Inn Hotel, downtown Athens. Shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and the Davison Life Sciences Building.

The course and facilities are hosted by The Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases and the Department of Genetics at the University of Georgia, in Athens, GA, USA.
Participants will be housed near campus, in the Holiday Inn Hotel. The workshop organizers will make room reservations. Hotel room charges will be paid by EuPathDB for the nights of May 31 through June 3.
Hotel check-in time is 3:00pm, May 31; check-out time is 11:00am, June 4.
If you arrive before the 3:00pm check-in time, you can call the hotel that day to see if your room is available for earlier check in. The Hotel can not guarantee your room will be ready before 3:00pm. The number is 1-706-549-4433.
Attendees who will be arriving early or leaving late will be responsible for the cost of additional nights at $96 per night.
The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport (airport code ATL) is the closest major airport. It is 85 miles, 140 km (1.5 hours drive) from Athens.
There is no public transportation between Atlanta and Athens. You will need to make a reservation with a private carrier. Taxis are not a good mode of transportation between the airport and Athens. Use the Groome shuttle or you can rent a limousine with several others for a reasonable cost per person.
The Groome shuttle provides regularly scheduled ground transportation between the airport and Athens. You will need to make shuttle reservations. The shuttle holds 10-12 passengers.
