Location
The course will be held in the Davison Life Sciences Complex, room C128. This is a 5 minute walk from the GA Center hotel. A suggested path is

The course and facilities are hosted by
The Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases
and the
Department of Genetics at the University of Georgia,
in Athens, GA, USA.
Transportation
The
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport (airport code ATL) is the closest major airport. It is 85 miles, 140 km (1.5 hours drive) from Athens.
There is no public transportation between Atlanta and Athens. You will need to
make a reservation with a private carrier.
The AAA Airport Express shuttle provides regularly scheduled ground transportation between the airport and Athens. You will need to make shuttle reservations. The shuttle holds 10-12 passengers.

Schedule:
6 times daily - 7 days/week
To arrive in time for the workshop's first session please choose a shuttle departure time no later than 4:45pm (the 4:45 shuttle arrives in Athens at 6:15pm). If you stay to the end of the meeting (Thursday, noon) the next available shuttle will be at 1:55pm and arrives at the airport at 4:00pm.
Taxis are not a good mode of transportation between the airport and Athens. However you can rent a limousine with several others for a reasonable cost per person.

Housing
Participants will be housed on campus, in the
Georgia Center for Continuing Education Hotel. We will
make the arrangements for the room reservations for Monday night through Wednesday night (checkout before 11:00am Thursday morning).
Participants should plan to arrive during the day on Monday, June 26th. The course begins at 7PM.
The course will finish at noon on Thursday, June 29th.
Hotel check-in time is 4:00pm; check-out time is 11:00am.
